WOMEN'S NATURE VEST, 36

Women's hooded woolen vest - partly eco-printed and naturally dyed, partly upcycled.

The patterned parts are eco-printed with walnut leaves and dyed with walnut husks (the brown - on the hood and the side panels, a detail of the back) and walnut leaves (the pinkish lining of the hood). The rest of the vest is sewn from upcycled second-hand woolen pullovers, that were unworn but still in excellent condition — giving beautiful materials a second life instead of letting them go to waste. These are not naturally dyed.
The vest has four pockets and is completely lined.

Material:
Eco-printed main fabric: 100% organic, boiled, GOTS certified merino wool, mulesing free (300 gsm)
Dark green main fabric: 100% merino wool - upcycled
Brown narrow details: 100% merino wool - naturally dyed with walnut husks
Light green and blue details on the pockets: 100% merino wool - upcycled
Lining of the outer pockets: 100% merino wool - eco-printed with walnut leaves
Lining of the hood: 100% merino wool
Main lining: 100% wool - upcycled
Ribbings: 97% organic merino wool, mulesing free + 3% elastane - naturally dyed with walnut leaves
NATULON® zipper (made from recycled materials such as PET bottles)
Sewn with GOTS certified organic cotton threads.

The model is size 34/36 and 161 cm tall.

This garment is eco-friendly and sustainable – made from natural, biodegradable materials - right down to the care labels, which are gradually transitioning to cotton.

Care instructions:
Hand wash in lukewarm water, dry flat in shade, iron on wool setting. Wool naturally neutralises odour - air out between wears to wash less often. → Full care instructions in my care guide.
