Kids' hooded woolen vest - partly eco-printed and naturally dyed, partly upcycled.
The eco-printed front and back parts are printed with various leaves like maple, catalpa, oak and walnut, the background was dyed with a logwood chips blanket. The lining is eco-printed with walnut leaves. The whole vest (except of the outer part of the waist ribbing) is sewn from upcycled second-hand merino wool pullovers, that were unworn but still in excellent condition — giving beautiful materials a second life instead of letting them go to waste.
The vest has four pockets and is completely lined.

Eco-printed main fabric: 100% merino wool - upcycled
Bottom/waist ribbing: 97% organic merino wool, mulesing free + 3% elastane - naturally dyed with walnut leaves
Rest (outer parts, lining and remaining ribbing): 100% merino wool - upcycled
NATULON® zipper (made from recycled materials such as PET bottles)
Sewn with GOTS certified organic cotton threads.

The models were size 74 and 1,5 years old, size 92/98 and 2,5 years old.
These wests have a really great fit, they can be worn for a long time.
This garment is eco-friendly and sustainable – made from natural, biodegradable materials - right down to the care labels, which are gradually transitioning to cotton.
Please note: Any garment dyed or eco-printed using iron (ferrous sulphate) may carry a subtle metallic scent, which can intensify with physical activity, perspiration, and high temperatures (such as very sunny summer days). This is completely normal and natural — though I can only speak from my own experience, and I understand it may feel strong or unfamiliar for some.
Care instructions:
Hand wash in lukewarm water, dry flat in shade, iron on wool setting. Wool naturally neutralises odour - air out between wears to wash less often. → Full care instructions in my care guide.
